HAROGIC has officially launched the PGA-60 handheld vector signal generator, bringing laboratory-grade RF signal generation into portable field applications. Covering 9 kHz to 6 GHz, the PGA-60 offers excellent spectral purity, up to 50 MHz real-time modulation bandwidth, 100 MHz waveform playback bandwidth, and optional output power up to 25 dBm. Weighing only 1.5 kg and providing at least 2.5 hours of battery operation, it is designed for wireless communications, base-station maintenance, radar and electronic warfare testing, UAV signal simulation, spectrum management, and other demanding field applications.

Built upon the proven, high-performance architecture of the SGA-60, the new PGA-60 brings laboratory-grade vector signal generation directly into the field. Under "Generate Without Limits" design concept, the PGA-60 ensures that engineers no longer have to compromise on signal purity, bandwidth, or modulation capabilities anywhere and anytime.
Uncompromised RF Performance
The PGA-60 delivers the exact same RF performance, signal quality, and advanced measurement functionality that users expect from the established benchtop VSG, ensuring flawless data consistency between laboratory simulation and field verification. It operates across a versatile frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz, making it ideally suited for critical microwave and wireless communication bands. The instrument offers flexible power delivery with a standard maximum output level ranging from 7 dBm to 14 dBm, a minimum level output reaching down below -100 dBm for sensitive receiver testing, and an optional medium-power configuration that pushes the level output up to 25 dBm.
Spectral purity is a core strength of this architecture, characterized by excellent close-in phase noise of less than -124 dBc/Hz at a 1 GHz carrier with a 10 kHz offset, alongside highly suppressed 0 dBm output harmonics typically lower than -50 dBc. Furthermore, the PGA-60 excels in demanding digital modulation tasks by supporting a maximum real-time bandwidth of 50 MHz and an impressive maximum playback output bandwidth of 100 MHz for complex ARB waveform generation.
