HAROGIC Releases New Active Directional Antenna
HAROGIC introduces the all-new HDA-100 handheld active directional antenna.
1. HAROGIC HDA-100 Features Overview
HAROGIC introduces the all-new HDA-100 handheld active directional antenna. HAD-100 combines exceptional wideband performance, ease operation and excellent ergonomic design, which positions it as an indispensable "Golden Spectrum Measurement Combo" to the spectrum analyzer for field engineers.
The HDA-100 supports a frequency range from 500 MHz to 10 GHz, meeting diverse and complex testing requirements across commonly used communication bands. Its core design integrates lab-grade accuracy with field-operation convenience, which could be employed for. wireless spectrum monitoring, signal investigation, and field surveying. Key features include:
1.1 Outstanding Antenna Performance
The antenna provides a gain of 3 to 8 dBi across the entire frequency range, with a front-to-back ratio greater than 15 dB, ensuring excellent directional characteristics. This significantly improves the accuracy and efficiency of signal search. With a typical sidelobe level below -15 dB, it minimizes interference from irrelevant directions, assisting users in quickly locating interference sources or specific signals in complex electromagnetic environments.
1.2 High-Performance Broadband Low-Noise Amplifier
The built-in high-performance amplifier is one of the key advantages of the HDA-100. It features a typical noise figure of ≤ 1.5 dB, with specific values of 1 dB at 1 GHz and 1.2 dB at 3.5 GHz. This low-noise design ensures high sensitivity, enabling clear capture of even weak signals. A dedicated button allows users to instantly switch between 0 dB (Amp Off) and 20 dB (Amp On) gain modes, allowing flexible adaptation to different signal conditions.
1.3 Intelligent Software Integration and Status Display
The HDA-100 achieves deep hardware-software integration. When used with SAStudio4 spectrum analysis software, it automatically loads the antenna factor, significantly simplifying test setup and ensuring data accuracy. Meanwhile, the integrated status display function provides real-time antenna and amplifier status directly within the software interface, allowing users to clearly monitor the antenna conditions.

1.4 Ergonomics Designed for Prolonged Operation
Designed for field engineers requiring extended handheld operation, the weight of HDA-100 is optimized to 680 g. Combined with its optimized center of gravity and ergonomic grip contour, it achieves "effortless handing without strain," ensuring comfort operation during prolonged use. As part of the "Golden Spectrum Measurement Combo," the HDA-100 empowers efficient field operations by perfectly pairing with the PX series handheld spectrum analyzers: When connected with the compact PX series (1500 g), the complete system weighs only 2180 g, making it ideal for mobile patrols and rapid response. When used with the rugged spectrum analyzer (2500 g), the total system weight of 3180 g provides a durable and reliable solution for long-term operations in extremely harsh environments.
